Scenes from an afternoon walk...

This is a view from down the street where we live. The new construction on the left is the new apartment building where we will, insha'Allah one day have a sea-front view from our apartment on the top floor! *one can always dream!* This is a shot of the local magazine and newspaper stand on a shady corner just down from where we live. You can walk up, take your donkey up, or drive up! *lol* This is a neighborhood *strip mall* (as we call them in the U.S.) set in the lower level floors of three apartment buildings sandwiched together.
