Scene from an Afternoon Walk...Now THAT's a Sidewalk!

Now if all the sidewalks were like this...and yes...95% of the cars ARE that small!

  3. Thank you Aishah for these glimpses into your world. They are wonderful. Almost always you have a kitty hidden somewhere. Is this intentional? mmm. I love all these pictures, especially the one praying. Good example to us all, to stop, pray and then continue on with our duties in life that Allah allows us the health to do.

    Love ya,

I'm also married to an Egyptian. Do you like living there? I visited once, but living there is completely different I'm sure.

  6. Salaams,

The camera is digital - HP Photosmart R717 6.2 megapixels.

I only wish I had it with me when I was living in Saudi Arabia last year. *sigh* There is so much I would love to have documented. Insha'Allah the words in my stories paint a clear enough picture. (www.sisteraishah.com)

    Ma'Salaama.

  7. Wa'Alaikum Assalamu,

N.C. - living in Egypt...well, I suppose if conditions were 'just right' - most people might find things enjoyable about living here. Unfortunately I don't fall into that category. To be quite honest, it is noisy, dirty, and depressing. *sigh*

Every place has it's photo ops...I'm just selective so you see nicer reflections.

    Ma'Salaama,
